Special cleanser for high pigment inks - Octopus fluids

Special "Write & Draw" cleaner by Octopus Fluids supports cleaning of your sensitive writing instruments, removes writing and drawing inks and pigmented inks.

 

The use of pigmented and waterproof inks in fountain pens requires careful maintenance of these sensitive writing instruments. Although fountain pens can be cleaned with relatively little effort after using pigmented inks, it is important, even after a very long time, to ensure that no residues dry up in the fountain pen. Usually these inks are removed by mechanical cleaning using aggressive cleaning agents.

 

We recommend that you always clean your fountain pens thoroughly after use. The Write & Draw Cleaner has been developed to achieve a better cleaning than with normal water. This special fountain pen cleaner dissolves the color pigments and binder in the Write & Draw inks, ensuring that your writing instruments are cleaned without leaving any residue.

 

It is suitable for fountain pens, calligraphy nibs, brushes and glass nibs. If necessary, you can even let the ink cleaner work overnight. The Write & Draw Cleaner contains only mild cleaning agents so that steel or gold nibs, feeds or brush bristles are not affected.

Nibs with colored coatings (gold, copper, black) may become loose when mechanically cleaned. We recommend testing this in an inconspicuous area first.

 

The fountain pen cleaner is not suitable for removing dried ink.

 

Like the Write & Draw drawing inks, the cleaner is made exclusively from vegan ingredients.
