The PENLUX Masterpiece Grande Great Natural Collection in the color Rainforest is really a personal favorite. The deep green color that is striking but not at all bright. Perhaps we can almost call it a bit of retro color because of the depth and warmth of the tropical green. The finish is with a rose gold in the clip and decorative bands which gives the fountain pen a really unique look.

PENLUX Great Natural Collection uses translucent PMMA as the main material to express the natural landscape. PMMA is not an ordinary injection molded plastic (most clear pens on the market are injection molded plastics). PMMA needs to be turned and formed by CNC computer lathe and then polished by hand. It cannot be produced in large quantities in a short time. Every PENLUX Great Natural Collection is equipped with an aluminum piston system developed in collaboration with RED DESIGN. Each theme has a different piston color.

The first PENLUX pen we held in our hands gave us the emotion and feel of a finely handcrafted precision instrument. The volume and weight is very pleasant and we had not seen the materials anywhere else. Beautiful deep colors with refined combinations in the finish that harmonize with the material used. Even the fountain pens that we personally did not favor were so beautifully made and in such harmony that we could really enjoy them too. For example, how nice is it with a transparent pen that the piston system is visible but is completely finished in one color. A quality that we do not find in many brands. This shows a genuine passion for the execution of their product. It makes the pen personal. A robust solid piston filler for the enthusiast of a solid qualitative and elegant writing instrument.

PENLUX is not a newcomer to the pen world and certainly not a veteran. They have always been a quiet, hard-working, small professional pen factory that is slowly realizing its own dreams.

In 2015, the PENLUX brand started and developed a modular piston ink system made of aluminum alloy in collaboration with Ruide design. The development took two years but made the difference between penlux writing instruments and other brands. From mold development, raw material development, pin tube proofing, turning, everything is completed by professional technicians in own factory. 80% of the pen is self made. The nibs are Jowo nibs. #6 size and smooth as butter with a supple inkt flow.

A PENLUX fountain pen is produced semi-manually and semi-automatically. This ensures that each PENLUX writing instrument retains the feel of handcraft, while at the same time having the precision of automatic production. 

PENLUX creates its own brand and makes the products they like. This is their constant plan and ideal. At Scrittura Elegante we only sell products that we are passionate about and that we like ourselves, so this philosophy really appeals to us.
