The pen is completely made in-house by Magna Carta and comes with unique features. The material of the pen is Unique to Magna Carta and released under their own brand name Magnarc. The nib is an impressive size #8. for the real lover of large nibs, the pinnacle on the market at the moment. This mighty nib is fed by an Ebonite feed and complements the unique look of this pen.
The Crown Series is a Piston filler pen with a large capacity.
The Magna Carta LibertatumCrown series comes in three different combinations, marking three different years associated with the document:
1215 (Red and Golden) to commemorate the year when The Magna Carta Libertatum was signed by King John of England near Windsor. The Gold denoting the Crown and the red representing the Council of 25 Barons who were the signatories.
1225 (Brown and Gold) to commemorate the year the Charter was reissued. The gold represents royal protection, while the brown signifies the king's good intentions.
1297 (grey and white) to mark the year the Magna Carta became part of the English Statute Law. Here too, the gold accents are present to indicate the crown, while the gray and white accents symbolize the freedoms we have.
