The glass bottle of Hamburg Calligraphy Ink has a screw cap with an excellent seal. The opening of the bottle is wide and allows dipping the pen without getting it dirty. Hamburg inks are high quality calligraphy inks; the color remains very intense even when the ink has dried. The ink colors are assorted, so your pen comes with a surprise color (blue, black or brown)
